CHECKING ACCOUNT

The checking account is a deposit account that individuals (private customers) open to manage their daily and personal transactions. Holders of this type of account can carry out debit and credit transactions.

Credit transactions:

  • Wire transfers received (salaries, pension, etc ...)
  • Cheque remittances
  • Cash deposits

Debit transactions:

  • Cash withdrawals
  • Cheque payments
  • Outgoing bank transfers (to savings account)
  • Debit interest
  • Deductions for subscribing to products and services
  • Direct debits

Characteristics:

  • The account holder is entitled to a cheque book offered free of charge by the Bank;
  • The checking account could also be a joint account opened under two names;
  • The checking account offers its holder the following advantages:
      • The account holder can be granted short and medium term financing.
      • The account holder can subscribe to insurance, investment, bank card and remote banking products...

Account opening conditions:

  • A valid National Identity Card for nationals
  • Passport or residency permit for foreigners
  • Three 4x4 passport size photos
  • Pay slip for salary earners
  • Proof of income for self-employed workers
  • Location Plan
  • An ENEO or CAMWATER utility bill
